Roommate shifts |
| Assistants who work roommate shifts live with Mike for 24
hour periods at a time and are paid a daily salary. These shifts are less
rigid than hourly shifts because it offers more downtime/personal time to
assistants once necessary tasks are completed and then assist Mike on an as
needed basis. During a roommate shift, Mike provides assistants
with food, beds, access to televisions, areas to study, and other amenities.
Assistants are allowed to leave Mike to attend classes and for other reasons
to be determined on a case by case basis.
